RANDALUSITE
Description:
Randalusite is a product mined and processed in South Africa by Damrec. This product is then sized at C-E Minerals Processing, Newell, West Virginia. Randalusite exhibits excellent creep resistance, corrosion and slag resistance, hot load resistance and dimensional stability.
Applications:
Randalusite is used in a number of refractory applications including anode baking furnace (aluminum), linings of rotary kilns, for runners, feeders and regenerators in glass making, hot blast stove checkers and blast furnace bottom blocks..
