1961 – George Eusner secures ore deposits in Andersonville, Georgia

1968 – Acquisition by Combustion Engineering

1969 – Rotary kilns 1 and 2 are installed

1972 – Rotary kilns 3, 4 and 5 are installed

1981 – Rotary kilns 6 and 7 are installed

1990 – Acquisition by Imerys (Imetal)

1994 – Construction of Plant # 2 crushing/screening/packaging facility

1995 – Acquisition of competitor’s ore reserves

1996 – Acquisition of Cytec facility and reserves; includes Rotary Kiln # 8

1996 – Construction of Plant # 3 crushing/screening/packaging facility

2005 – Construction of Plant # 6 crushing/screening/packaging facility

2008 – Major ore acquisition

2009 – Rotary kiln 9 is installed



TECO

1960 – Founded by Bill Rawles, producing fused MgO and fused silica

1983 – Acquisition by Combustion Engineering

1986 – Fused MgO business sold to Tateho-America

1990 – Acquisition by Imerys (Imetal)

1999 – Construction of new fusion facility with 15 fusion furnaces

2000 – Construction of spherical silica facility

2006 – Installation of new screening system



CE – MINERALS PROCESSING

1930 – Construction of original property for Globe Refractories

1990 – Acquired by Napco as a materials processing facility

1999 – Acquired by CE-Minerals; installation of new equipment

Current – capacity to process over 100,000 tons/year



CE – MINERALES (VENEZUELA)

1990 – Construction of both fusion furnaces; annual capacity of 40,000 tons
