SPINEL 25
Description:
Spinel 25 is a fused alumina rich spinel aggregate containing typically 25 percent magnesium oxide. Alumina and magnesia in required proportions are mixed thoroughly and then melted under controlled conditions to form spinel that is slightly alumina rich. Spinel 25 is available in a number of refractory sizes from Andersonville, Georgia.
Applications:
Spinel 25 is primarily used in conjunction
with pure alumina systems to improve hot metal/slag, erosion/corrosion
resistance.
